Just announced! Attendees at the November 19 dinner will have the opportunity to hear a very special guest speaker. Mark Regev is the highest ranking habonim alum in the Israeli government. Mark is the Spokesman for the Israel Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as a Moshava parent. This is an exclusive chance to hear him speak.

Other highlights of the event to be announced shortly.

How They Met....

They met at Mosh as campers, and more than four decades later, Rachel and Rick Glaser are the mainstays of Habonim Dror Camp Moshava, a camp that has served the Baltimore-Washington Jewish community for 70 years.

As the resident Camp Manager, Rachel is on hand to monitor and guide both campers and staff. Rick is officially Secretary of the Camp Committee, but unofficially is the man who makes Mosh run. They fell in love at and with Moshava — love affairs that continue to this day.

Both were counselors and stayed involved as adults. Rick served as Camp Committee Chair for several years. Rachel has been the Camp Manager since 1985. They have built a life nurturing tomorrow’s leaders and overseeing the growth of two generations.

When not working on Mosh business, they care for the greater community in other ways. Rachel is education director of Beth Israel Congregation in Owings Mills, and Rick directs CHANGE, Inc., a nonprofit organization that serves the developmentally disabled. Between them, they have four master’s degrees and four grown children — all Moshniks, of course.
